Connections Developer
Laura Shuford serves as a Connections Developer at Ministry Architects, where she helps churches and ministry leaders discern next steps toward healthier systems and sustainable ministry. Raised in Louisville, Kentucky, she moved to Richmond, Virginia in 1990 and has remained deeply rooted in church life her whole life. With degrees in biology and mathematics, she brings both analytical thinking and relational insight to her work. For more than 30 years, she has taught and evaluated early childhood formation programs in church settings. She previously served on staff as Facilities & Hospitality Coordinator at St. James’s Episcopal Church (2012–2020) and currently serves as Wedding Coordinator. She and her husband live in Richmond, Virginia. They have a grown daughter who teaches special education in Northern Virginia.
